Serving youth, women and families across WA since 2004.
Around 1 in 3 Australian highschool school students have tried vaping, 1 in 5 young people experience cyberbullying, 1 in 3 young people have been asked to send a sexual image online. Suicide is the leading cause of death for young people aged 15–24 in Australia. And on average, one woman is killed every week due to domestic and family violence.
These are not isolated issues and they are preventable. We work to protect young people, women, and families from these harms through early prevention and community action.
Our work focuses on three priority groups across Western Australia: youth, women, and families. Read more about our framework here.
Our 45–60 minute presentations for students in Years 5–12 consist of seven different topics to educate and empower young people.

The Second Chance Choir is an award-winning choir made up of people who have lived through prison, addiction, domestic violence, and crime, standing alongside their mentors and families.
They perform across Western Australia at large-scale events, both secular and faith-based, using music to connect people, shift perception, and bring communities closer to what restoration actually looks like. It is a choir of hope.
For over two decades, I’ve worked alongside young people, women, and families across Western Australia, in schools, communities, and the justice system.
I’ve seen firsthand the impact that addiction, violence, crime, and other social harms can have on young people, women, families, and entire communities.
Through my own lived experience, frontline work, and a Master’s degree in Criminology, I’ve come to understand something important: these stories rarely begin with a crisis. More often, they start much earlier with disconnection, missed opportunities, and a lack of support when it’s needed most.
That’s why I believe so strongly in prevention.
I know the power of a second chance because someone once gave one to me. That opportunity changed my life, and it’s why I’m passionate about supporting young people and women today.
That’s why we’re building something bigger. A coordinated prevention approach that reaches people earlier, responds smarter, and strengthens young people, women, and families across Western Australia.
So I invite you to join us. Together, let’s work together to protect future generations. Prevention is better than cure.
